Inspired by the pieced-together nature of handwoven textiles, Woven Copy Studio signifies the weaving together of your history and heart. The product is a written tapestry of your then and now – guiding you towards what you envision your brand doing and becoming.
Copy that's curated from a purposeful place means more impact, confidence, fun growing your business, and close-knit relationships with the people you’re shaped to serve.

Growing up, expressing creativity was celebrated – whether through making music (the piano, in my case), writing, cooking, or photography.
But I always felt the strongest pull towards creative writing. So going from journalism school graduate to account coordinator (/stand-in copywriter & editor) at a KC ad agency obviously came as no surprise to those closest to me.
Here’s where things get slightly spicy (like my beloved jalapeño marg).
In 2016, my husband got deployment orders. And that’s when my “best laid” plans started unraveling. I could no longer dodge the unpredictable nature of being a military spouse. Moving every 2-3 years and enduring extended time apart doesn’t really mesh with a long-term career doing what you love.
I needed to pave my own path forward – one that would allow me to reclaim ownership over my journey.
That’s when I made the conscious decision to put the corporate world behind me and open Woven Copy Studio.
Forming Woven Copy Studio from a small idea to slow down and design my interpretation of a flexible, life-centric business was a bold move. (That's something I'm certain we have in common.) And since bringing the brand to life, it's purposefully grown into a place where creatives come to feel more encouraged to show up & tell the story of their soul-fulfilling business – free from the nervous energy of how the words will be perceived or waiting for things to seem more “complete” (read: perfect for the public).
Being invited to serve as the copywriter of a diverse assortment of stories on a day-to-day basis? Wow wow wow. It’s a real privilege.
When I’m not busy typing away in the studio, there’s a good chance you’ll find me trying to keep up with our toddler son’s energy (send an iced vanilla latte w/ coconut milk or aforementioned spicy marg, plz), crossing my fingers that my husband’s green thumb keeps my house plants alive, and catching up on the latest (read: most dramatic) Bravo episode.
